50 Cent To Judge YouTube’s Hip-Hop Contest
YouTube has just revealed a new music contest entitled, “OntheRise Rap Edition.” The goal of the contest is to find the best-unsigned hip-hop
YouTube has made an agreement with 50 Cent, Polow da Don, and Common to judge the videos. The finalists will then be shown on the YouTube community for a final judgment.
Users will be able to submit original music videos from Aug. 10 through Aug. 17. The final winner will be revealed Sept. 7.
The winner will be given a trip to New Youk to record a track for G-Unit/Interscope Records, a $10,000 gift certificate to Guitar Center and a feature spot on YouTube’s homepage.
